Two black ravens
PETER LUCKOCK
TWO BLACK RAVENS
is the creative identity of award-winning artist Peter Luckock — a photographer and sculptor whose work dwells in duality. The name evokes the balance between light and shadow, organic and synthetic, perfection and flaw — a meditation on thought and memory, inspired by Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Muninn.
Guided by the language of nature, Peter finds poetry in imperfection. He works with found and reclaimed materials, transforming what has been discarded into forms that echo both wilderness and industry.
His work embraces the impermanence of life — the quiet truth that all things shift, weather, and decay — and in doing so, honours the cycles of transformation that shape the world around us.
His pieces blur the boundary between what is made and what simply is, reminding us that the human hand is not apart from nature, but an extension of it.
